Pecans are packed with vitamin E, zinc and beta-carotene making it a healthier alternative than other types of nuts. They are a great source of calcium, magnesium, and potassium, which may help lower blood pressure (although, if that's your goal, please choose our Mahan or Western Schley variety!
Most of the fat found in pecans is a healthy type called monounsaturated fat. Eating foods with monounsaturated fat instead of saturated fats can actually help lower levels of bad LDL cholesterol!
