Shea & Cocoa Butters with Apricot Kernel Oil
Mount Lemmon (also known as Babad Do'ag, or Frog Mountain to the Tohono O'odham, stands over 9,000 feet tall in the Santa Catalina mountains near Tucson, Arizona. This is the tallest peak in the Santa Catalina Sky Island.
Mount Lemmon was named for botanist Sara Plummer Lemmon, who trekked to the top of the mountain with her husband and E. O. Stratton, a local rancher, in 1881. This is our summer tribute to this beautiful peak.
Lemon verbena is a common shrub in washes, canyons, and on shady slopes. It has a wide range in our region, growing from central Arizona into northern Sonora. This is why we chose this incredible scent.
Our Mount Lemmon soap features protective cocoa and shea butters, along with rich, ultra-moisturizing Apricot Kernel oil. We added enough poppy seeds to make it lightly exfoliating, and a purple flower to make it beautiful!
You'll love the zesty lemon scent blended with the bright notes of citrus and sugar, with just enough floral to make you notice it. The fragrance is enhanced and further balanced with lemon peel, litsea cubeba, citronella and eucalyptus.
We are also happy to include this soap in any of our gift kits.
