In the heart of Heber AZ, nestled among the Ponderosa pines, lies a history as unique and enduring as the soap itself. Heber was originally settled in the late 1800s by pioneers who sought their fortunes in timber and ranching.
Situated atop the Mogollon Rim, the community lies at an elevation of 6,627 feet. Heber was settled in 1883, by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the town is named after either Heber J. Grant or Heber C. Kimball, both prominent members of the LDS church
