Bisbee is a charming town nestled in the Mule Mountains of southeastern Arizona, holds a rich history and cultural significance.
Established in the late 19th century, it thrived as a mining town, primarily for copper. The Copper Queen Mine, once one of the most productive in the world, symbolizes Bisbee's historical importance in the mining industry. In fact, their mines earned Bisbee the nickname of “Queen of the Copper Camps.”
Beyond its mining heritage, Bisbee has transformed into an artsy and eclectic community. The town attracts artists, writers, and free spirits, creating a unique atmosphere. Bisbee's historic district, with its colorful buildings and artistic flair, is a testament to its vibrant artistic culture.
We wanted to make a soap that was reminiscent of this incredible culture and we hope we've captured even a little of this amazing people in our tribute.
We chose a sultry scent for this soap to match the relaxing feel of this small town. It's a mild citrusy blend of bergamot, heirloom mahogany and soft musk. This scent makes you want to curl up on the sofa with a good book!
