The Palo Verde was designated as Arizona's state tree in 1954, and both the Foothill and the Blue varieties share the honor. These beautiful trees bloom bright yellow in winter.
Palo Verde (meaning, "green stick") trees are unique as they can use chlorophyll from their bark to photosynthesize and produce sugar. The Hohokam people once ground these seeds to make flour and when green, the pods can be blanched then eaten raw.
While we didn't totally succeed in replicating the look of these complex trees, we gave it our best shot. Tiny drops of blue and green replicate the canopy of leaves in honor of the Palo Verde, which provides shade all year long.
Because we live in the arid desert, we added Colloidal oatmeal to soothe dry skin and Kaolin clay to anchor the incredible Amber fragrance. The scent is a sultry fusion of mandarin and amber with a sexy base of sandalwood and musk.
The entire soap is infused with all-natural essential oils, including orange, lavandin, copaiba balsam, lemon, and grapefruit.
This is a scent you have to experience for yourself - I know you'll be hooked.
This soap is designed to keep your skin soft and hydrated even against the harsh arid climate of an Arizona winter. The entire family will love this mysterious, alluring bar of soap.
